Answer:

The mass of anything is constant no matter whether it's on the moon or the Earth (this fact is incomplete however, for higher standards, and not exactly correct). So, the mass on Earth too, shall be 40kg. Now, weight = mass * gravitational acceleration. So, weight = 40 kg * ( ) = 392 Newtons

Answer:

HELLO!

GOOD EVENING.......

Question⤵

The mass of body on moon is 40 kg, what is the weight on the earth?

Answer⤵

Given

➡mass of body on moon =40kg

To ask

➡weight on earth

Note:- mass of any body not change to Anywhere.

by using formula

w= mg

where w= weight of body

m = mass of body and

g = graviton acceleration

we already know g on earth is approx 9.8m/s²

so putting the value of m= 40kg and g =9.8m/s2

w= 40×9.8

w=392N

Hence mass of body on moon is 40 kg, then the weight of body on earth is 392N

so the correct answer is b. 392 N

Hope this is helpful to you!
