Answer:

monthly income of A  = Rs.500 ,  monthly income of B  = Rs. 600

Step-by-step explanation:

let x and y be the income of A &  B

 given :  x  : y = 5 : 6

           6x  = 5y

 6x  - 5y  = 0   ..........(1)

Also given that ,  (x - 150)   :  (y - 150 )   =  7 : 9

                  9(x -150 )  =  7( y - 150)

           9x  - 1350  =  7y - 1050

   9x - 7y  =  300  ...............(2)

on solving  (1)  & (2)  we get   x = 500  and  y = 600

Hence , the monthly income of  A & B  are   500  and 600 respectively
