Let, the principal be x years

A. T. Q,

Teacher : Student = Principal : Clerk

30 : 20 = x : 45

30/20 = x/45

(30*45)/20 = x

67.5 = x

So, the principal age is 67.5 years

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation

Let the age of student and teacher be X1 and y1 respectively

Let the principal age and clerk age be X2 and Y2

Therefore

X1/X2= y1/ Y2

20/X = 30/45

35x= 45*10

X=450/35

X=12.85
