■ SOLUTION:-

let the circles having centres P and Q touch each other internally at point R .

here QR=4.1 cm and PQ=5.9 cm

The two circles touch each other internally

Therefore, by formula of touching circles ,we have

PQ=PR-QR

PQ=5.9-4.1 cm

PQ=1.8 cm

Therefore, the distance between the centres of circles= 1.8 cm.
