let the angles be 4x and 5x..

4x+5x=90° because the sum of complementary angles is 90..

9x=90

x=90/9

x=10

now putting the value of x in 4x and 5x

4×10=40°

5×10=50°

so the measure of angles is 40° and 50°.....
