then the will become 3x+8,4x+8

given,

$\frac{3x + 8}{4x + 8} = \frac{4}{5} \\ 5(3x + 8) = 4(4x + 8) \\ 15x + 40 = 16x + 32 \\ 40 - 32 = 16x - 15x \\ x = 8$

the no. are 8*4=32 and 8*5=40
