\huge \purple A \purple N \purple s \purple W \purple e \purple \R   :-

Perimeter of Square = 4 × side

=> 4 × 64

=> 256 cm

Perimeter of rectangle = perimeter of square

=> 2 ( l + b ) = 256

=> 2 ( 80 + b ) = 256

=> 160 + 2b = 256

=> 2b = 256 - 160

=> 2b = 96

=> b = 96/2

=> b = 48 cm

Area of square = side × side

=> 64 × 64

=> 4096 cm^2

Area of rectangle = l × b

=> 80 × 48

=> 3840 cm^2

Therefore , area of square is greater than area of rectangle ...

Answer:

Area of square is greater by 256m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Side of a square = 64m

It's perimeter = 4 × side

= 4 × 64

= 256m

Perimeter of square = Perimeter of rectangle = 256 m

length of rectangle = 80m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l + b)

256 = 2 (80 + b)

256/2 = 80+b

128 = 80+b

b = 128 - 80

b =48m

Area of square = (side)^2

= (64)^2

=4096m^2

Area of rectangle = (l×b)

= (48×80)

= 3840m^2

Therefore,area of square is greater.

so, Area of square - Area of rectangle

= (4096 - 3840)m^2

= 256m^2

Therefore,area of square is greater by 256 m^2
