Explanation:

Meiosis : It is the process by which gametes are formed for reproduction . This process is a part of cell division in our body .It occurs in germ cells. This type of cell division is completed in 2 stages. The 1st stage is Meiosis - 1 and the another is Meiosis - 1 .

The substages of Meiosis - 1 are divide into - Prophase-1 ,Metaphase-1 , Anaphase- 1 and telophase - 1 .Prophase is again divded into 5 parts i.e. Liptotene,Zygotene,Pachytene,Diptotene,and Dikinesis .

Similarly , Meiosis 2 is divided in 4 parts : Prophase -2 Metaphase -2 Anaphase - 2 and telophase - 2

Meiosis leads to the formation of 4 daughter cells
