the poem 'Another Woman 'is written by Imtiaz Dharker.She is not only a writer but also a painter ,documentary film maker who depicted the life of a homemaker and her struggles throughout the day in this poem .A woman doinv household chores from the early morning ,heading towards vegetable market for leafy vegetables and other veggies within the budget , reaching home to face the every -angry mother -in-law .

Getting into the kitchen for doing the remaining cooking before the heat on the stove as always .Once her husband reaches home ,she cannot at least express her frustration and sorrow but only to listen whatever he says.Baring all the tantrums from the family members but no one consoling her or appreciating her really puts the woman of the family in great grief.

This kind of situations need to change in our society as women is the backbone of the family .Her presence is like a salt in a dish , whose presence is not felt and appreciated .This awareness should be made to the boys in every family at young age so that when they grow old, they will at least treat their wives much better than their fathers.
