APJ Abdul Kalam
Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam or APJ Abdul Kalam was the former president of India. He is deemed to be the first scientist president. He was born on 15th July 1931 in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu and died on 27th July 2015.
He was also an aerospace scientist who specialised in physics and Aerospace Engineering. He was known as the Missile Man of India for his contribution to the ballistic missile and nuclear weapons. He also played a major role in Pokhran-II nuclear tests in the year 1998.
Apart from his educational qualifications and contributions towards India, he was a man with a heart of gold. He is known for his thirst for knowledge, perseverance and humility. The fact that inspires me the most is his approach towards failure. He taught us not to stop dreaming, instead to work harder. Therefore, he is a true inspiration for the youth.
