(c) Magnesium + oxygen → Magnesium oxide
(d) Calcium oxide + water + Calcium
hydroxide

Answer:

(a) 2Fe + 3Cl2 ——> 2FeCl3

(b) Mg + H2SO4(dil) ——> MgSO4 +H2(g)

you have written wrong statement, mg reacts with diluted sulphuric acid to give magnesium sulphate and hydrogen gas not water .

(c) 2Mg+ O2 ——> 2MgO

(d) 2Cao + 2H2O ——> 2Ca(OH) 2

(e) 2Na + Cl2 ——> 2NaCl

13 ans.

Zn(s) + HCl(dil) ——> ZnCl2 (aq) + H2(g)

it is a displacement reaction. here zinc is displacing H2 from its compound HCl and a new salt zinc chloride is formed. because zn is more reactive than H2.

hope it will help you.....
