The given equation is,
1200 + 2x -  \frac{12000}{x} - 20x = 1260

Further simplifying,

 \frac{12000}{x} - 18x = 60
Simplifying,

12000 - 18 {x}^{2}  = 60x
This can be written as,

18 {x}^{2}  + 60x  -  12000 = 0

Solution of this equation,
If equation is in the form ax² + bx + c = 0.
x  =   \frac{-b ± \sqrt{ {b}^{2}  - 4.a.c}}{2 \times  a }
x  =   \frac{- 60 ± \sqrt{ {60}^{2}  - 4.18.(- 12000)}}{2 \times 18}

x  =   \frac{- 60 ± 60\sqrt{241}}{36}
On simplifying,

x  =   \frac{- 5 ± 5\sqrt{241}}{3}
Two roots are
x  =   \frac{- 5  +  5\sqrt{241}}{3}   \: and \:   \frac{- 5  - 5\sqrt{241}}{3}
