<b>Heya mate. (^_-). Solution below.
====================================

<u>Your Question -</u>

Factorise the polynomial 125 - 8x³

<u>Solution -</u>

125 - 8x³

We can write it as

125 - 8x³

= (5)³ - (2x)³

Let 5 = "a" and 2x = "b"

Now, using the identity ---
(a³ - b³) = (a - b) (a² + ab + b²)

Putting the values of a and b

5³ - 2x³

= [5 - 2x] [(5)² + (5 × 2x) + (2x)²]

= (5 - 2x) (25 + 10x + 4x²)

<marquee>Hence, (125 - 8x³) = (5 - 2x) (25 + 10x + 4x²)</marquee>

Thank you. ;-)
