13x - 6y = 20
7x + 4y = 18​

= 13x-6y=20.....(1)

= 13x=20+6y

= x=(20+6y) /13

7x+4y=18.....(2)

= 7[(20+6y) /13]+4y=18

= (140+42y) /13+4y=18

= 140+42y+52y=234

= 140+94y=234

= 94y=234-140

= 94y=94

= y=94/94

= y=1

x=(20+6y) /13

= x=(20+6×1) /13

= x=(20+6) /13

= x=26/13

= x=2
