Find the total number of toffees:

1 box = 36

128boxes = 36 x 128 = 4608 toffees

Find the number of toffees in a box with 4 less:

1 box = 36 - 4 = 32 toffees

Find the number of boxes:

1 box = 32 toffees

Total number of boxes = 4608 ÷ 32 = 144

Answer: There will be 144 numbers of boxes

128 boxes are packed with 36 toffee in each box.

Total number of toffees

= no.of boxes × No.of toffees Per box

=128 × 36

= 4608

4 toffees are packed less in a box

then the no.of toffees per box will be 36 - 4 = 32

The new number of boxes which can be filled with the same number of toffees is

= Total number of toffees/ no.of toffees per box

= 4608/32

= 144 boxes
