no. of rows let be x
no. of plants in each row be x
total no.of plants = 1296
no. of rows × no.of plants in each row = 1296
x*x =1296
x square = 1296

now do prime factorization of 1296 and get answer

Total no. of plants    = 1296
No. of plants in each row   = √1296
                                           =   36
Hence, the total number of plants in each row is 36.
