Question :

Factorise completely :

12  {p}^{5}  \:  + 16 {p}^{4}  - 20 {p}^{3}

\textbf {\underline {\underline {Step-By-Step\:Explanation:}}}

12 {p}^{5}  + 16 {p}^{4}  - 20 {p}^{3}  \\  \\= (4 \times 3)  {p}^{5} \:  + (4 \times 4) {p}^{4}  - (4 \times 5) {p}^{3}

By taking  4p^3 as common,

we get,

=  4 {p}^{3} (3 {p}^{2}  + 4p - 5 \:  )

Now, It can't be factorised anymore. So, It's the final answer!

Answer :

 4p^3 ( 3p^2 + 4p - 5 )
