Given :-

  • M.P of a dozen the socks is ₹80/-
  • Discount = 10%

To find :-

  • The no. of socks can be purchased for worth ₹24/-.

Solution :-

 \bf \therefore \: SP\: of \: the \: socks \: :   -  \\  \bf \: =   \frac{80 \times (100 - 10)}{100}  \\  \bf \:  =  \frac{80 \times 90}{100}  \\  \bf \:  = ₹72\:\:☞\:\:ans.

Formula used :-

  • \bf \:   SP\:  = \frac{CP\times loss}{100}
