clearly x=1 satisfies the equation hence (x-1) is a factor of the equation and dividing with this we get another factor which is equal to 12x^2+5x+9. hope this helps. I am adding an image too

avinash2511: use partition rule to factorise quadratic part. like breaking the middle term containing x
