3x + 2 ) 12x³ - 13x² - 5x + 7 ( 4x²- 7x + 3

Therefore ,

dividend = 12x³ - 13x² - 5x + 7

divisor = 3x + 2

quotient = 4x² - 7x + 3

Remainder = 1
