Solution:-

=> 13=2(x+5)-2

=> 13 + 2 = ( 2x + 10 )

=> 15 = 2x + 10

i.e.

=> 2x + 10 = 15

=> 2x = 15 - 10

=> 2x = 5

=> x = 5/2

=> x = 2.5
