13. A alone can do a piece of work in 12 days and B alone can do the same work in
15 days. A works alone for 4 days. In how many days will A and B together finish
the remaining work ?

So in 1- day A can do=60/12= 5- parts

B can do in 1- day= 60/15= 4- parts

In 1- day both can do= 9- parts.

So in 4- days they can do= 9 x4= 36 parts.

Now the remaining part of (60–36)= 24 parts is done by A alone.

So Number of days required by A to do the remaining work of 24- parts =24/5= 4.8 days.
