A book-keeper discovers that his Trial Balance reflects an excess debit of Rs. 23,598.
He, therefore, opens a Suspense Account. Subsequently, he discovers the following
errors:
1. A credit posting of Rs. 19,454 has been wrongly debited to Mr. B's Account as
Rs. 15,944
2.
An amount of Rs. 19,000 entered as depreciation in Plant & Machinery Account
is not entered in Depreciation Account
3.
Rs. 1,50,000 invested in the purchase of an assets has wrongly recorded in the
Purchases Account;
A sale of Rs. 11,800 to Mr. C has been entered as Rs. 19,000 in his account
Show the Suspense Account, filling in the particulars and amount columns in detail &
Pass the Journal Entries.​
