Given:-

Total no. of tiles =2550

Since the tiles are in the shape of rhombus and diagonals are of length 20cm and 28cm.

Therefore,

d1 = 20 \\ d2 = 28

Area of one tile = Area of rhombus

As we know that area of rhombus is given as-

 \frac{1}{2}  \times d1 \times d2

Therefore,

area \: of \: 1 \: tile =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 20 \times 28 = 280 {cm}^{2}

∴ Area of 2550 tiles =2550×280=714000cm^2

=71.4m^2

Given that the cost of polishing is Rs.25 per m^2

Therefore,

Cost of polishing the floor =25×71.4=Rs.1785

Hence the cost of polishing the floor is Rs.1785.
