Dear Student,

⇒Answer :

∴Let no of oranges be x

4 oranges= 1 rupee

1 orange=  \frac{1}{4} rupee

x oranges= \frac{x}{4} rupee

∵Similarly,

∴Another x oranges= \frac{x}{5} rupee

Total cp of 2x oranges=  \frac{x}{4} + \frac{x}{5}= \frac{9x}{20}

Now,

∴For SP:

9 oranges=2 rupees

1 orange= \frac{2}{9} rupees

∴2x oranges= \frac{2}{9} × 2x =  \frac{4x}{9} rupees

∴Loss=  \frac{9x}{20}  -  \frac{4x}{9}  = \frac{x}{180}

loss%= \frac{X}{180} × \frac{20}{9X} × 100% = 1.12% loss
