13. A man walks 5 m towards east and turns right and moves 12 m. The magnitude of his
displacement is
(1) 10 m
(2) 20 m
(3) 15 m
(4) 13 m

His path will be like a right angle triangle..

So Hypotenuse =√( One side square + Second side square)

= √{(12)^ 2 + (5)^2}

= √(144+25)

= √ 169

= 13

So correct answer is 13 and option is (4)
