  • It is given that the milk tank is in the form of a cylinder whose radius is 1.5m and length is 7m.

  • Length of milk tank = height of the cylinder

Now,

  • Radius of the cylinder = 1.5 m
  • Height of the cylinder = 7 m

We know( formula ),

  • Volume of cylinder = πr² h

Therefore,

  • Volume of the milk tank = πr² h

       ⇒

\dfrac{22}{7}\times (1.5 m)^2 \times 7 m

       ⇒ 22 x 2.25 m² x m

       ⇒ 49.5 m³

We know,

  •  1 m³ = 1000 liters

So,

  • 49.5 m² = 49,500 liters

Therefore,

49,500 liters of milk can be stored in the tank.
