Answer: distance=323m

GIVEN

  • time=1.9sec
  • speed of sound=340m/s

FORMULA USED

  • distance= speed*time

CONCEPT USED

echo is bouncing back of sound

SOLUTION

⇒distance=speed x time

as echo is bouncing back of sound so distance is twice hence

⇒2 distance= speed x time

⇒2 distance=340 x 1.9

⇒2 distance= 646

⇒distance=646/2

⇒distance=323m
