AnsWer :

C. 2038 cm³.

Given :

  • A Rectangle sheet of paper Size ( 40 * 16 ) cm.
  • Roll to form A cylinder with length of Rectangle
  • Where value of π = 3.14.

To Find :

Volume of Cylinder.

Solution :

When, Rectangle roll to form Cylinder then,

  • Length of Rectangle become Circumstances or, ( 2πr )
  • Breath become Height of Cylinder.

So,

Length of Rectangle = 40 cm.

 \tt\dashrightarrow 2 \pi r = 40.

 \tt\dashrightarrow r =  \frac{40}{2 \times  \pi}

 \tt\dashrightarrow r =  \frac{20}{ \pi}

Breath of Rectangle = 16 Cm.

 \tt\dashrightarrow h = 16 \: cm

\rule{120}1

 \tt Volume  \: of  \: Cylinder = \pi {r }^2 h.

 \tt\dashrightarrow  \pi \times  { (\frac{ 20}{ \pi})}^{2} \times 16.

 \tt\dashrightarrow  \frac{400}{ \pi}  \times 16

 \tt\dashrightarrow  \frac{400}{3.14}  \times 16.

\tt\dashrightarrow  127.39 \times 16.

\tt\dashrightarrow  2038 \:  c{m}^{3} .

Therefore, the volume of Cylinder is 2038 Cm²
