can you detect solution of sodium sulphate,using barium chloride solution?

if we will add

barium chloride solution to sodium chloride solution then they will not react  at all having same electronegative  element in both compounds.

when we will add

barium chloride solution with calcium chloride it will also not react for the same reason.

but on adding

barium chloride with sodium sulphate then they willl react giving a white precipitate of barium sulphate. hence we can distinguish it with the experiment.

the reaction is as follows

BaCl2 + Na2SO4 ------------------> BaSO4  +  NaCl.
