Given :-

  • Length of the rectangle = 7.5 cm

  • Breadth of the rectangle = 5.3 cm

To Find :-

  • The area of the rectangle.

Formula used :-

  • Area of rectangle.

Solution :-

Here, we have to find the area of the rectangle, and the length and breadth of the rectangle are given, so we will use the formula of area of the rectangle.

 \sf \underline{area \: of \: rectangle} \:  = l \:  \times  \: b

Where,

A = Area

L = Length

B = Breadth

On substituting the values -

A = L × B

A = 7.5 × 5.3

A = 39.75 cm²

\therefore the area of the rectangle is 39.75 cm².

More formulae -

1. Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

2. Diagonal of rectangle =  \sf \:  \sqrt{h}  +  \sqrt{b}
