had 3 packs of gum with 5 pieces in
each. Akhil and Hitesh have 19

Akhil and Hitesh both chewed 10 gums each.

Total number of gums akhil has  =  4 * 6

                                                      =  24

Total number of gums hitesh has  =  3 * 5

                                                        =  15

Total number of gums altogether the have  =  24 + 15

                                                                        =  39

Left number of gums  =  19

Number of gums chewed  =  39 - 19

                                            =  20

Gums chewed by each of them  =  20 / 2

                                                      =  10
