As the atomic number of P is 15 and atomic mass is 31. Therefore number of protons is 15 and the number of neutrons is (31-15) = 16.

As the atomic number = number of protons

And atomic mass = number of protons + number of neutrons

and number of electron = number of protons for a neutral atom.

Hence number of electrons = 15

Answer:

i have that answer

Explanation:

p is 15 and atomic mass is 31

no. of neutron =(31-15)=16

atomic no. =no. of protons

atomic mass =no. of protons + no. of neutrons

no. of electrons =no. of protons for a neutral atom

=15
