Anil played a very pivotal role in Hari Singh’s transformation. Anil’s good, generous, trusting and credulous nature had a deep impact on Hari Singh. Anil started teaching him how to write complete sentences. When Hari Singh got an opportunity to run away with Anil’s money, he could not do that. This was the transformation.
The complete transformation happened after Anil condoned his act of stealing money and returning it. Anil knew everything, yet he did not say anything to Hari Singh. This acceptance and ignoring the theft intentionally transformed Hari Singh.
Anil knew he was being robbed ; yet he did not say anything. I too would have tried to behave like Anil; since Hari Singh had shown promise of transformation by returning back, I would have tried to forgive him.
