To prove:- (i)△AOD≅△BOC(ii)AD∥BC

Proof:-

Line AB and CD intersect.

∠AOD=∠BOC(Vertically opposite angle)

In △AOD and △BOC,

OA=OB(Given)

∠AOD=∠BOC

OD=OC(Given)

△AOD≅△BOC(SAS congruent rule)

∠OAD=∠OBC

But ∠OAD and ∠OBC and these form a pair of alternate angles if a transversal intersects two lines such that pair of alternate interior angles is equal, then lines are parallel.

∴AD∥BC
