it has a sack like structure and richly supplied with blood capillaries it's membrane is made up of endothelium and it allows diffusion between the the blood and air it helps in diffusion of oxygen into the blood and exhalation of Co2 from our body it has a thin membrane and the lining of the blood vessel is also of endothelium so easier during diffusion the total with of alveoli and blood vessel membrane is of 0.02 millimetre
nephron
it is a long tubular structure it helps in purification of blood the first it is starts from bowman's capsule where the insoluble substances are detached from the blood it is present in millions in kidney and helps in formation of urine
