Factorise

(a)

7k² - 15k

Taking out the common term (k)

k(7k - 15)

(b) 12(m+p) + 8(m+p)²

Expanding it,

12m + 12p+ 8m²+8p²+16mp

Taking the hcf out,

4(3m+3p+2m²+2p² + 4mp)
