Given:

1) Breadth of a rectangular grassy= 1 m 25 cm

I. e. 1+0.25=1.25 m

2) Length=4m

To Find:

1) Area of a rectangular grassy=?

2) Perimeter of a rectangular grassy=?

Solution:

Area of a rectangle=length×breadth

Therefore,

Area of a rectangular grassy=4×1.25

=5 m²

Therefore, Area of a rectangular grassy is 5 m²

Perimeter of a rectangle=2(l+b)

Therefore,

Perimeter of a rectangular grassy=2(4+1.25)

=2×5.25

=10.5 m

Therefore,

Perimeter of a rectangular grassy is 10.5 m

\huge\underline\mathfrak\red{ANSWER}

\huge\underline\mathfrak\purple{SOLUTION}

AREA OF RECTANGLE : LENGTH × BREADTH

GIVEN:

LENGTH OF RECTANGLE =4 m

BREADTH OF RECTANGLE = 1 m 25 cm OR 1.25m

ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION

AREA = LENGTH ×BREADTH

=> 4 m × 1.25 m

=> 5.00 m²

=> 5m²

THEREFORE AREA OF RECTANGLE = 5 m².

NOW,

PERIMETER OF RECTANGLE = 2( l + b).

ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION

PERIMETER = 2( l + b)

=> 2(4 + 1.25)

=> 2× 5.25

=> 10.5m

THEREFORE PERIMETER OF RECTANGLE = 10.5m
