 \large \mathsf {\underline{ \underline{Solve :  - }}}

Length of Rectangle = 5 dm 4cm

= 5×10+ 4

= 54cm

Then,

Breadth of Rectangle = 3dm×4cm

= 3× 10 + 4

= 30 + 4= 34cm ( 1dm = 10cm)

Area of Rectangle = length × breadth

= 54× 34= 1836cm^ 2

Area of side = 4dm 5cm

= 4× 10 + 5 = 45cm

Area of square = side × side

= 45× 45

= 2025cm^ 2

Therefore,

the difference between are of Rectangle and area of square = 2025- 1836= 189cm^2

so , the answer is 189cm^2
