Answer:

1. 2/7

2. 1/13

3. 1/3

Step-by-step explanation:

1. There are 2 letter E in a 7 letters word.

2. There are 4 aces in 52 cards. Then you just have to simplify 4/52.

3. There are 6 sides in a dice and there are 2 non prime numbers no less than 6. Then simplify 2/6 and you'll get 1/3.

Idk if these are the right answers tho.

\huge\bf{Answer :}

Pre-requisite Knowledge :

Probability of an event = Number of favourable outcomes / Number of total outcomes.

a) Numbers of letter E = 2

Total numbers in "PERCENT" = 7

∴ Probably of getting the letter 'E' :-

Number of letter E/ Total numbers

2/7 ✔️

b) Number of Ace cards in the deck of cards = 4

Total number of cards = 52

∴ Probability of getting an ace :-

Number of ace cards/Total number of cards

= 4/52 1/13 ✔️

c) Number of non-prime numbers on the dice = 2 ( i.e 4 and 6 , they are composite numbers )

Total numbers on the dice = 6

∴ Probability of getting a non-prime number :-

Non-prime numbers/Total numbers

= 2/6 1/3 ✔️

\huge\bf{Extra\: Information :}

  • 1 is considered as neither prime nor composite number.
  • The deck of cards contains 52 cards which are divided into Red ( 13 cards ) and Black cards ( 13 cards ).
  • The red cards are further divided in Diamond and Heart cards, 13 each out of which 3 cards are face cards ( King, Queen,Jack ) and 9 number cards.
  • The Black cards are divided into Ace and spade cards with the same bifurcation as of the heart and diamond.
  • Probability ( Event ) + Probability ( Not Event ) = 1
