(2²)x+2 = (4²)x-1

4x+2 = 16x-1

16x-4x = 2+1

12x = 3

x =  \frac{3}{12}  =  \frac{1}{4}

2 {}^{2x + 2}  = 4 {}^{2x - 1 }  \\ 2 {}^{(2x + 2)}  = 2 {}^{2(2x - 1)}  \\ 2x + 2 = 4x - 2 \\ 2x = 4 \\ x = 2.......is \: your \: answer
