Answer:

f(x) = 3x - 5

y = 3x - 5

if x=1, y = -2 b=-2

if x=2, y=1

if x=3, y =4 a=3

In (a,4)

a=x and 4 =3x-5

Solving we get x =3 so ,a=3

Now,

In second we have1=x and b= 3x -5

Hence,b= -2
