(ii)   (K ∩ L) U (K ∩ M)

= ( {a,b,d,e,f} ∩ {b,c,d,g} ) U ( {a,b,d,e,f} ∩ {a,b,c,d,h} )

= {b,d} U {a,b,d}

= {a,b,d}
