area of the circle = pi r^2

area of circle/ area of the square pi

perimeter of the circle is 2pi r

perimeter of the square is 4 r

perimeter of circle / perimeter of square = pi/2

so ratio of perimeter of circle and square =twice of ratio of area of the circle and square.
