Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

ax + by = 3ab

So. a - 3b = 3ab

=> a = 3b + 3ab

Now x/a + y/b = 2

=> 1/ a - 3/b = 2

=> b - 3a = 2ab

=> b - 9b -9ab = 2ab

=> -8b = 11ab

=> a = -8/11

Now a = 3b + 3ab

=> -8/11 = 3b - 24/11 b

=> -8/11 = 33b - 24b / 11

=> -8 = 9b

=> -8/9 = b
