The,

Given equation are ( 2x + y ) : ( x + 2y)

According to the question,

The value of x = 1 and the value of y = 2

( 2x + y )/( x + 2y )

Put the required values in the. given equation,

2( 1 ) + 2 / 1 + 2 ( 2 )

2 + 2 / 1 + 4

4 / 5

Hence ,

The value of (2x + y) : ( x + 2y) = 4 : 5.
