A:C = 5:8

B:C= 5:6

Make C same both

Take LCM of 8 and 6 is 24.

A: C = 15: 24 (Multiple by 3)

B:C = 20: 24 (Multiple by 4)

On here, A: B = 15:20 = 3:4

Now,

A:B:C = 15:20:24

Given-

A: C = 5:8\\ B : C = 5:6

To find-

1. A: B \\2.A:B:C

Solution-

The given information is in ration form .

Ration is fraction which contain numerator and denominator.

We can write given ration as,

\frac{A}{C}= \frac{5}{8}

\frac{B}{C}= \frac{5}{6}

As C is present in both the ration equate it

By Multiply A/C by 3 and B/C by 4 we get

\frac{A}{C}= \frac{15}{24}

\frac{B}{C}= \frac{20}{24}

So, we get A= 15  B= 20 and C= 24

The value of A:B

= \frac{15}{20}

Divide by 5 we get

The value of A:B = \frac{3}{4}

To find the value of A:B:C = 15 : 20 :24

The final value is

A:B:C = 15:20:24

A:B = 3:4
