for 20 minutes. Find :
the total distance travelled by the car and
(ii)
the average speed of car during the journey.

speed2=30km/hr

time1=10min

time2=20min

Now,

  1. distance 1=speed 1*time1
  2. distance1=20km/hr *10min
  3. distance1=20km/hr*10/60 hr
  4. distance1=10/3 km

Now,

  1. distance2=speed2*time2
  2. distance 2=30km/hr*20/60hr
  3. distance 2=10km

total distance=distance1+distance2

total distance=10/3+10

total distance=40/3
