➤ Answer :-

Number of passed candidates :-

\longmapsto \sf \:75 \: \% \: of \: 2000

\longmapsto \sf \: \frac{75}{100} \times 2000 \\

\longmapsto \sf \: \frac{75}{ \cancel{100}} \times \cancel{2000} = 75 \times 20 \\

\longmapsto \sf \:1500

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Now,

Number of students failed :-

Total students - number of students passed

\longmapsto \sf \:2000 - 1500

\longmapsto \sf \:500

\Huge\therefore500 students failed in the exam.

if 75%passed, then 100 - 75 which is 25% failed

25%=

=25/100x200

=25x2

=50
