angle B - angle A =40⁰(difference of angles)

angle B+angle A = 180⁰(supplementary angles)

-angle A +angle A (cancel)

angle B +angle B = 40+180

2B=220

angle B = 220÷2

angle B = 110⁰

angle A=180⁰-110⁰ = 70⁰ (supplementary angles)

angle D = 70⁰ ( opposite angles equal)

angle C = 110⁰ ( opposite angles equal)
